Almost half of the women in the 1,000-person Bupa survey said they'd take up celibacy to reach the milestone. A lot will be living alone, one way or another - only 31% of men said they'd sacrifice the sack to get a congratulatory telegram from the Queen.

Another big split in opinions - what defines old age. While the average young whipper-snapper of 16 to 24 sees it starting at 61, codgers of 75 and up say it began at 71.

The study of 5,300 students in the Altered States and Canada found that nearly half of all students admitted they did. Here's the rundown: 39% of social science and humanities grad students, 43% in liberal arts, 45% in law, 49% in medical and health-care, 50% in physical sciences, and 54% in graduate engineering. The No. 1 cheaters at 56% - business students, many saying it's accepted practice in business.
